Strapping machine is equipped with an adjustable strap guide system for use with 6mm to 15.5 mm strapping. The complete guide set consists of a feed guide, exit guide, and entry guide.
Make sure the guides are set correctly. Incorrectly adjusted guides will affect strap feeding reliability Set up the strap guides using the following procedure:
Set the motor and power switch both to the OFF positions.
Loosen the set screw in the feed guide and swivel the adjustment plate to within 0.5-1.0mm of the strap width being used. Tighten down the set screw.
Loosen the mounting screws of the entry guide’s upper and lower plates. Move the alignment plates to clearance of 0.5-1.0mm of the strap width being used. Tighten down the mounting screws.
The exit guide is a two-position guide assembly. Loosen the mounting screws of the exit guide alignment block. Move the alignment block left or right so that the groove aligns into the left/inner channel of the main guide block for 1/4″ and 3/8″ width strap. Move the guide block to align with the right/outer channel for 1/2″ strap. Tighten down the mounting screws.
